Job Description:

We are looking for a hands-on Data Scientist with a consultative approach to apply Machine Learning (ML) and Deep Learning (DL) algorithms to solve complex business challenges. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing and deploying models using TensorFlow or PyTorch and a strong understanding of AI/ML techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

Use appropriate ML and DL algorithms to address the business challenges and choose the appropriate techniques to optimize model accuracy and estimate the business impact.
Work with domain and customer teams to understand the business context and data dictionary and apply the relevant DL solutions.
Pre-process the data and perform feature engineering for model development using Python, R, SQL, or cloud data pipelines.
Design, develop and deploy DL models on TensorFlow or PyTorch and work on text, speech, images, and videos data sets.
Develop NLP models for text classification, named entity recognition, semantic search, and so on by using tools such as SpaCy and open-source frameworks.
Develop models related to image recognition and video analysis by using DL algorithms with the help of tools such as OpenCV.
DL models need optimization and fine-tuning for accuracy at its best.
Utilize visualization tools to analyze outcomes and validate models, which include tools like Power BI, Tableau.
Working with application teams to enable model deployment on cloud-based or on-prem platforms and creating CI/CD pipelines for ML model deployments.
Integration of AI/ML models with other applications through REST APIs and connector technologies.
Keep abreast of latest techniques and best practices; contribute to writing white papers and creating assets that demonstrate the work involved in AI/ML projects and its impact.

Eligibility Criteria:

Important Skills:

Proficiency in machine learning, mathematical, and statistical sciences.
Experience with versioning and collaborative tools like Git/GitHub.
Understanding of AI solution landscapes, including cloud platforms, GPU-based computing, data security, API gateways, microservices architecture, big data ingestion, storage, and processing.
Ability to develop prototypes and scale solutions to industrial-grade strength.
Ability to quantify and estimate the impact of ML models.

Preferred Qualifications:

Active contributor to open-source communities and platforms like Kaggle.
Experience processing large datasets using PySpark or Hadoop.
Knowledge of reinforcement learning and optimization/genetic algorithms.
Experience operationalizing DL models for customers and understanding the nuances of scaling such models in real-world scenarios.
